230903 Of Crazy Ones, Rebels, Misfits & Dreamers

Today I was listening to a free webinar from The Shift Network chatting to Robert Moss, Dream Guide Extraordinaire. My greatest expansion has often been ignited by my DreamTime experiences, which I hold so dear. I have been keeping a dream journal for the best part of 20 years and can remember unrecorded dreams from my childhood in such fine detail, as if I had dreamt it last night. Much of those dreams have shaped and guided my experiences.

I totally believe in the Multi~Dimensional life we live and our BEing in parallel realities all at once. As we start to tune into and practice this, it becomes more real, even in this Dream we are living! As Robert says, there is a Pacific culture that says there are as many realities as there are people on the planet, as it is our imagination which creates those worlds.

As I was listening, a Telegram message came through from a group of weird and wonderful friends ~ thanks Amanda. It is this beautiful piece of poetry of Jack Kerouac. As I looked at his profile on Wiki (I like to give accurate info in my stories!) so much was referencing Dreams! I love that! Makes me pay attention, as Robert says, this is our guides speaking to us! This offering of Robert Moss is focussed on connecting with Death as an Ally, a theme I often blog about, it being so close to me. Here is the great synch ~ Jack Kerouac wrote this ~

I hope it is true that a man can die and yet not only live in others but give them life, and not only life but that great consciousness of life. (Journal entry (November 1951) as published in the Kerouac ROMnibus)

From his novel “On the Road” ~

“Here’s to the crazy ones.

The misfits.

The rebels.

The troublemakers.

The round pegs in the

square holes.

The ones who see things

differently.

They’re not fond of rules.

And they have no respect

for the status quo.

You can praise them,

disagree with them,

quote them,

disbelieve them,

glorify or vilify them.

About the only thing you

can’t do is ignore them.

Because they change

things.

While some may see them

as the crazy ones,

we see genius.

Because the people who

are crazy enough to think

they can change the world,

are the ones who do.”

~ Jack Kerouac American Novelist & Poet 1922 ~ 1969

(often misquoted as the words of Steve Job ~ doesn’t that just get up your nose?!)

And then looking for a suitable image to include, I came across this photo (one of hundreds of results) that made me laugh out loud! There is much going on in social media at the mo, talking about preparing for the next wave of BS that “they” are trying to enforce on us. I made a stand in 2020, living in rural Portugal (thankfully “locked down” there rather than in my homeland of South Africa). Asserting my sovereignty and refusing to be told I cannot take in the optimum amount of oxygen to be healthy and mindful. I refused then to let the boot be on my neck and again in 2023 I will not comply, nor consent, nor live in fear. I choose to Dream the New World into manifestation. Continue to be the crazy one, the rebel, the misfit ~ the world needs the Dreamers.

The fact that everybody in the world dreams every night ties all mankind together

~ Jack Kerouac Book of Dreams (1961)

Much Love & Gratitude

Keep Shining!
